How it works
There is no clever additive and nothing imported. Just real candy, our own sub-zero process, and a family that makes every batch by hand.
Real lollies and freshly made chocolate go into a deep sub-zero freeze until they are solid through.
Under vacuum the ice skips straight to vapour, drawing every drop of moisture out and leaving the flavour behind.
What is left puffs up huge, weightless and shatteringly crunchy, with the taste turned all the way up.
Every batch is frozen and vacuum-dried right here in Central Queensland. Nothing is imported, nothing is bought in and re-bagged.

Ben, Sherre and Ruby run all three shops themselves. The same family that makes the treats is the one that serves you.

Our story
Sub Zero Treats began as a family experiment: what happens to your favourite lollies when you freeze them to minus fifty and pull the moisture out? The answer turned out to be magic, and a little bit addictive.
What started at the kitchen bench is now three Central Queensland shops, run hands-on by Ben, Sherre and their daughter Ruby. The local paper even called it a cool store's sweet success, and the queues for the Dubai chocolate agree.
We still make everything ourselves, in small batches, the same way: real ingredients, our own freeze-dryers, and a lot of crunch.
